An Inspiring Vintage Country Bridal Shower Shoot

Vintage country weddings are here to stay, so why not match your bridal shower theme with the bride's wedding theme? This inspiring shoot was photographed by Hunter Photographic and styled by Baci Designer, and it features so many pretty and easy to recreate details. Personally, I love the hand lettered craft paper signs, and the unexpected punch of sangria mixed in a color palette of lavender and sage. I like the vintage hutch dessert display, and I also like that it's shot in a field of lavender. But, if you don't have access to a field of lavender your backyard will also do the trick.

"I worked with a team of amazing vendors to pull off the shoot. In particular, Kim Coryea from Hummingbird Bakeshop, who trained at the French Pastry School in Chicago. Kim designed & styled the entire dessert display, featuring chocolate tortes, a gorgeous orange revelry wedding cake made for two, fluffy pavlovas, blackberry lime mini tortes, and even individual cakes for each "guest". Better yet, Kim chose to display the desserts inside an antique armoire from Borrow Vintage + Eclectic Rentals

The lavender & sage theme starts with the setting - a working lavender farm. It then carries through the desserts, table decorations and flowers. As an example, some of the petite individual cakes feature highlights of pale green sage. While not appropriate for a dessert table submission, the wedding bouquet featuring a real dear antler is my personal favorite."
