This tablescape was inspired by pink lemonade. The pink and yellow color scheme was all about exuberance and being bold. Not only was the tablescape saturated with an astounding pop of color, but the contrasting shades complement each other nicely. Just like delicious pink lemonade, sweet and tart. The lemon placecards under the pink napkins made for an eye catching element; the yellow chevron runner was a perfect accent piece along with the mixed pink, white and yellow carnations for the centerpieces. By adding different vases to the centerpiece design, a dynamic and dramatic tablescape was created. The yellow and pink tall vases only have one carnation so that conversation cannot be impeded when guest speak to one another. Some unique DIY elements you see here are the lemon placecards that were wrapped with pink and white twine (definitely a glue gun project), the spray painted tin buckets wrapped in washi tape with washi taped tealights to match. The table number was made from two contrasting colored pieces of paper, a sprayed painted wooden number placed in a thrift store frame. Buying frames from a thrift store and spray painting them to match your color scheme is a great way to save money for table number displays. If you’re thinking of hosting a spring or summer bridal shower and want something fun, brightly-colored and a little outside the box, think about making a bold impact with a Pink Lemonade color palette!
