"I had a hard time visualizing exactly what all Event 29 would do. My main goal was that I wanted to just arrive and get ready for my wedding and not have to worry about putting decorations/details together the day of. Apart of me was a little skeptical that that would not happen and I would be running around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to get everything done. Also, was afraid that even after paying the initial fee, there would tons of additional charges after the fact.
As soon as I got the concept board all my fears disappeared and I was excited to work with Event 29. I tingled with joy and excitement! I was overwhelmed..in a great way when I saw the ceremony space, and was blown away when I saw the reception.
I was nervous about planning my wedding after losing my mom so soon after our engagement. But Gabrielle became my gladiator....my own personal Olivia Pope. She held my hand throughout the entire process; from setting up appointments and meeting with vendors, to helping me not go extremely over budget, to staying on the phone with me and letting me just cry because I missed my mom to coordinating with my maid-of-honor for the day of activities. As a theatre teacher I always tell my students that there are no excuses, only solutions. Gabrielle and her Event 29 staff live up to that motto."
